All Medisoft software requires registration. After
you've had Medisoft installed on your computer for 30
days without registering it the program will be locked;
it will not allow you to
use it. Your data will not be effected, nor is Medisoft rendered useless forever if you do not
register by the 30 day deadline. After successfully
registering, the program will be unlocked and you will
again have access to the program once again and to your data.
We recommend that you register your program
immediately after
receiving it. This way your access to the software is
not interrupted. Three key pieces of information are needed
to register Medisoft
- The Practice or company name
- The Serial Number of your Medisoft program: Located
on the Certificate of Authenticity that came with your
Medisoft program.
- The registration code: When you register, you'll
be given the registration code to unlock your program.
The best method to use to register Medisoft is by
modem. It's fastest and easiest. Here's how the process
works:
1. On Medisoft's menu, click Help + Register
Program. On the Medisoft Registration window, click on
Register.
2. Fill in every field of information you know in
this window, then click the Next button. The
Value-Added Reseller Name must be filled in as
MSR Technologies.
3. Fill in the names and specialties of
at least one
provider, then click the Next button.
4. Fill in the serial number for each product you are
registering, then click the Next button.
5. If you have an Internet
connection, the program will search for
the registration information. If you do not have
Internet access, you may select Cancel and the Information
window will appear. Select Print to send your
registration via fax or mail. You do not have to send
your registration info to Medisoft. You can fax it to
Medical Software Tools and we can handle the
registration for you. Our normal policy is one
business day turn around, Registration through Medisoft can be substantially
longer.
6. After the registration information is received and
entered by Medical Software Tools, a registration code will be
generated and communicated back to you by
modem, fax, or phone. After you receive the code, enter
in this screen and click Done.
It is important to write down the following
information and store it in a safe place:
- The practice or company name with the exact
spelling and punctuation
- The serial number
- The registration number
This information will be required to
reregister Medisoft if you ever uninstall the program
or change computers.
