#101. Import Wizard Standard- Imports ASCII CSV Data to Medisoft- Master File Data Only

The Import Wizard program will import master file data from our standard CSV ASCII file formats into Medisoft (this includes Patient File, Address File, Guarantor File, CPT Codes, ICD Codes and Insurance Carriers but does not include the Patient Case or the case relationships).

You can download both our standard CSV ASCII specification and the Import Wizard Data Conversion Utility from our web site (an activation key is delivered upon purchase of the Import Wizard).

When you run the Import Wizard to import data you will be prompted to select the file that you wish to import and the data in that file will be written to a Medisoft database that you select (Medisoft Version 7 or later).

If you have a non standard CSV or ASCII flat file format that you wish to import (i.e. not in OUR import format) Medical Software Tools can create a customized map to meet your needs. If you require a customized map file that must be ordered as a separate item. We recommend that you send a sample file along with the data definition/layout prior to purchasing Import Wizard to confirm that a map file can be created to match your import file format. Upon receipt of these two items we can review what you have and confirm that the project is feasible. Payment is required for work in advance; please plan on 7 to 14 days for delivery.

The Import Wizard is designed to run in Windows Vista, XP Pro, Win2K, or Win98 SE. 30 days of free support from the day the activation key is issued is included with the sale of Import Wizard. Additional support beyond 30 days is normally not required but would be billable at our standard rates.
